Re: is wood glue and duct tape harmful?

Well, my guinea pigs nibbled on a LITTLE TINY piece of duct tape before, and they were fine. But as I said it was a very small piece.

I don't think either wood glue or duct tape would be suitable for piggies to ingest. Give your pigs some toilet paper rolls, paper bags and balled up newspaper to play with.

If you tape the coroplast, you should do so on the outside so that they can't get to it. What would you use the wood glue for?

Re: is wood glue and duct tape harmful?

I'd worry about the duct tape because of the fibers in it. What if a long piece got stuck inside them? As for wood glue, isn't it pretty much the same as Elmer's glue which is a safe part of any toddler's diet? I would worry about that less (assuming that it's just the little bit that is left behind after you've glued something together).

Yes put the duct tape outside. Mine is, but when they have floor time they try to chew it. I always stop them before they get to it (except once.)
