Question Safest Cubes Brand

I recently bought storage grids from Walmart that were just some off brand. I didn't notice when I bought them but the grids came in two different sizes. The grids are the same size but the inner squares are different. Some are the smaller size the piggies can't fit their heads through but the others have large inner squares the pigs can fit their whole body through! I fixed the problem tempoarily by overlapping the grids to make the squares smaller but I was just wondering what the best and the SAFEST brand of grids you can find in the 48 states at a reasonible price. I will to most anything to ensure their safety and hapiness

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

The holes in the grids should be no less than 9 holes across and 9 holes vertically.

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

I think (?) most grids you'll find are the ones with 9 squares in each direction. Bed Bath and Beyond is the most reasonable I've found. If you get one of their 20% off coupons that they send everyone, you'll pay right around $10 for a pack of them.

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

I found mesh grids at BB'nB a few years ago and I love them. They help contain the mess.

Can you post a photo of them?
I wasn't aware that walmart had changed their grids too.

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

I bought Bed, Bath and Beyond grids too! I love them! Plus, they were cheaper (even without a coupon) than any other place I looked, including Walmart and Kmart.

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

I purchased 3 packs of grids at Bed, Bath & Beyond yesterday for $14.99/ea. I had originally bought ones at Target, and then after researching this site discovered they were the wrong size (which explains why one of my pigs kept escaping!). I found the grids at BBB, in their organization section.

Re: Safest Cubes Brand

Sounds like they are exactly the same grids target is selling currently. You can always "baby proof" the grids. That will solve the issue. It takes twice as many grids but you wouldn't have to get rid of what you already have now.
