Right now I have a lid for my C&C cage so my dog can't hurt the guinea pigs. The problem is, its not very sturdy. So I'm afraid that if he jumps on top of it it will fall. Does anyone have any instructions on how to make a top fot it?

Oh and I would like it to be easy for me to take it off to get my pigs.

You buy the stuff from Home Depot or Lowe's or a place like that and have them cut it to size for you.

Re: Top

Measure the cage and have it cut at the store. Lowes and Home Depot are both stores where you can get it cut and they will generally do it for free.

Re: Top

Is this it? Rubbermaid at Lowe's: 20" x 12' Tightmesh Wire Shelf 12 feet would be way to big so they would cut that but 20 inches would be too small. So do they just have a really big one that they cut to size and then you pay for however big that is. Because I dont want to pay for something and then only use half of it. I have a 2x3 cage.

Re: Top

Thats it. Maybe if you go to the stoor, they will cut it for you and charge you for what you need.

Re: Top

So I think I would get this one Product Information Error Page Because home depot is closer to my house, its cheaper, and closser to the size of my cage. But it is still too small on one side. What should I do?

Okay I figured out how to do it. Where in the store should I take it to get it cut?
