My guinea pigs are 6 months old and their cage is baby proofed. Is there a certain age or weight they should be for me to take the extra grids off? |

Well, you don't have to un-baby proof it if you don't want to. But as long as their heads are big enough that they won't get stuck in a grid, they should be safe. My boys were big enough at 4 months, but every pig is different. |
