The stability of the second story?

I am sorry - I am so full of questions today...I think this is my 6th post this morning! I hope there is no posting maximum! I couldn't sleep last night...all these ideas for the pigs kept floating through my brain...I almost felt obsessive and crazy around 4:00 this morning!

Anyways, here's my question.

When adding a second story, is there any problem with stability. What I mean is, if I were to make a loft that was 2 x 2 (4 grids total), would they sag in the middle? Do you attach any thing underneath for stability? Like some sort of brace? I would guess the coroplast is strong enough that the pigs wouldn't be in danger, but I do worry about the grids. Maybe it is because of sleep deprivation that I come up with this stuff and worry? I just want my guys to be perfectly safe.

Re: The stability of the second story?

It will be most stable if you attach it with zip ties.

You can also add something underneath. Check out the gallery for ideas. There are lots of good pictures in there.
