Hi as I explain my guinea pigs have their own room. It is a free range and I wanted to incorporate this to their room 72" Cat Tree Condo House Scratcher Pet Furniture bed-13 - eBay (item 270411695906 end time Jun-24-09 10:43:44 PDT)

I would me adding railings and other barriers for safety but I was wondering if you think they would like it. Thank you in advance my GP Gurus

As a general rule, guinea pigs do not like heights. At the very least, you will have to make the ramps much less steep. Do you already have this item and want to use it, or are you considering purchasing it?

Re: Can you give me feed back on this???

I wouldn't recommend it. Guinea pigs do better with extra space on a single level to run around in. You can add another level with a very gradual ramp if you want. I would put more money and effort into making a single (or two) level cage that is as big and nice as possible. What is your current cage like? If you want to post pictures, I'm sure people here could help you think of other ways to make it interesting and fun for your pigs.

The guinea pigs are free range I believe. No cage.

Re: Can you give me feed back on this???

I will try to take pictures this weekend and post them. My cage is an entire room divided in the middle half for the girls half for the boys. They have two loft each and a bridge. I will post the pictures so you can give me ideas on how to make it more fun. Thanks you! and by the way I have tons of grids that i could use.

I wouldn't recommend it, either. I doubt it would get much use, and it would be really really difficult to clean.

Re: Can you give me feed back on this???

I agree. Plus I would be worried about the small platforms without sides. I can't imagine that they would go any higher than the first level into the hiding area anyway (if they would even go up a ramp that steep). In that case you could find/make something much less expensive and easier to clean

Re: Can you give me feed back on this???

Hi, I just came across this and I too wouldn't recommend it... Think about if they fell down off through the windows.
