I heard about using cardboard to baby proof. Is this right? I am assuming that I just put it all around the the inside of the cage so he cant poke his head through a grid. Also, what age can they be safe with the grids not baby proofed. I have the 9 x 9 grids by the way. |

I would imagine if you used cardboard you would want to go between the coroplast and the grids. That way there is not as much change of the cardboard getting soiled and start to smell. If I'm wrong, please someone tell me. |

The cardboard will work fine. I would say around six to eight months. My coroplast was high so I didn't have to worry about that. |

I don't think hes as happy when its all covered up, but its for his own safety. Hes only 2 months old so He will be like this for awhile. I think when I have the money again I will get more grids so I can just double grid the cage, I know that would make him happier. |
