Question My pig eats the paint of the grids....

That's a good question that I've thought about as well. My pigs chew on the bars too. I can't imagine the paint is much different compared to store bought cages. Also, lead paint hasn't been used for quite a few years so it shouldn't contain that (but watch it if it was from China!)

I thought all the color on grids was baked on so it shouldn't chip off like paint. A few of my grids have silvery indents against the black where they've been scraped but other than that the color does not come off in visible amounts.
