 keeping ferret out of cage?need to make top. ok i have a c&c cage put it has no top yet but i have a ferret that has gotten in 2-tims and tried to kill  my cavy and do i need some way to make a strong top for it so he will not hirt my pig thanks. |

| Re: keeping ferret out of cage?need to make top. Oh, no!!! Please find something to put over as a temporary top just for now. Use something like a towel or sheet, and keep the ferret away if possible--shut off the room. To make a top, you can either use cubes that are cable-tied together, or you can use organizational shelving. Look on the photo pages for instructions. Please also get your cavy a friend. | Re: keeping ferret out of cage?need to make top. i agree with everybody so far, but do something right now so that the ferret cannot do anything, and do something so they don't even see each other, preferably, and after you have your right now situation set up, set up something more permenant, i would net ever even let the ferret in the room, and i would still have a firmly attached and shut lid, and double grids, and never ever leave the door open. |
