Oh, no!!! Please find something to put over as a temporary top just for now. Use something like a towel or sheet, and keep the ferret away if possible--shut off the room. To make a top, you can either use cubes that are cable-tied together, or you can use organizational shelving. Look on the photo pages for instructions. Please also get your cavy a friend. can the ferret fit between the grid squares? maybe thats how he got in. |

can ferrets squish like that, if so you may need to double up the grids, I've seen at least one cage in the photo gallery. |

o that is terrble put a bin over it with something heavy or close off the room imediatly. That is horrible. |

i agree with everybody so far, but do something right now so that the ferret cannot do anything, and do something so they don't even see each other, preferably, and after you have your right now situation set up, set up something more permenant, i would net ever even let the ferret in the room, and i would still have a firmly attached and shut lid, and double grids, and never ever leave the door open. |

um its a bit late for something "right now" this was posted amost a month ago, the person who created hasnt replied back so I assume one of our suggestions worked, just pointing that out. |
