It doesn't necessarily mean it's unnecessary, I've heard from experience that the cheaper models sometimes don't work as well, and it depends on the situation and the person's means. |

I now envisionary that your our of town and that your cage has to go awhile without being cleaned but normally if a cage smells it needs to be cleaned, if you can smell it your pigs would be able to smell it 10 times as bad. |

Just thought I'd provide a bit of empirical evidence on the glade plug ins. My boyfriend visits a fish forum and someone there was asking about them. there was a story from one member of how his wife had plugged a glade plug-in next to the tank and all the fish died the same day. If the smell got into the fish water, I'm pretty sure it's bad for piggies. Those things are way too strong. I would avoid any kind of air freshener because their noses are so sensitive. |
