Re: Zip Ties (plastic ties) None of my eleven guinea pigs chew them, but there are always exceptions. Just make sure they have plenty of hay and wooden objects to chew on instead and you should be fine.

Re: Zip Ties (plastic ties) Hello, I have used several (probaly around 40+) zip ties to tie Sugar & Spice's grazing pen together. They have never chewed the zip ties, but I have cut them very short so they can't. I don't know what other Guniea Pigs would be like, they all seem to have different personalites so I have no idea. But you could use them, and have a go with them, but I'd suggest you cut them really short so they don't have much to chew on.

Re: Zip Ties (plastic ties) Just to add, the ends can be a bit sharp after cutting, so aim them our of the cage. I've never had a chewed cable tie yet!

Re: Zip Ties (plastic ties) Oh I know, it's terrible! I've gotten scratched by them after I cut them, and it hurts.
