One of my girls chews on fleece

I finally folded up a cat bed pad for them to snuggle in and they all seem to love it. One of them will bite the fleece side though, yank it up, and chew it. She seems to be ingesting it. Does this mean they can never have fleece within reach?

From what I read, it's rare for piggers to chew on fleece.

The same one does it to towels too, and I worry she yanks out long threads. I don't let her do that to towels any more and don't leave any in their habitat.
