Question Attachments

This upcoming week I will start my building on my cavy cage. I plan it to be 2x5 for my two cavies, possibly an eventual third. I would like my current marchiaro tommy k 102 cage to somehow attach to it through a ramp. What materials would you recommend for both the ramp and attaching the ramp to the marchiaro cage door?

If that's impossible to do how would I attach like a 2x2 loft uptop the C&C cage and with what materials?

Re: Attachments

Sorry, I didn't exactly follow the marchorio cage thing.

Loft: make the usual cage, but add a horizontal layer of grids in the 2x2 area you want the loft on. Then, add the fencing grids vertically around the edge. Add coroplast and that's all! =)

Re: Attachments

for the ramp, you could just use a bent grid since you will have the grids anyway. just make sure your piggies cant fall off anywhere.

Re: Attachments

I know what you mean about the cage...it's green and tan right?? I was going to buy the same cage before I found this site...

You can add a ramp from your c&c cage and lead it to your old cage...that'/s the only thing I can think of, but as she said in the post before, make sure they can't fall off anywhere. Check out some of the member's albums for ideas, I've sen it done many times!

Good luck!

you could make an upper level to fit your petstore cage on, and then have a ramp leading to the upper level into the petstore cage.
