So I'm back to this great website and I see on the main page a notice saying that the cage needs adjustments for babies and to see the safety page, but the safety page is just has cats and dogs on it. Is there a page I'm not getting to about how you adjust the cage for babies? Thanks |
I found my self in the same situation a couple years ago with Kitty (our first guinea pig.) The babies can slip right through those holes in the grids! All we did was make the coroplast higher on the sides for awhile. If you have extra pieces left over from making your cage you can slide those in there until they get too big to fit through the grids. They usually didn't try to "escape" unless we were chasing them around the cage with our "giant" hands trying to hold them.

. Good Luck to ya!
