Chlorine-Free Bleach

While I also use a water/vineagar mix for much cleaning, I have also used this chlorine-free bleach; which is non-toxic and made from hydrogen peroxide to soak hedgie linens before I rinse and launder them. It really helps with hedgie poop, which is, quite frankly, nasty. It's much larger and stinkier than cavy poop and then in combination with the urine is generally repulsive. I find it much better to soak and rinse the linens before I launder them and it ensures no stray poops get into the washer and 'stick around' to 'beautify' regular clothing. I just wanted to get some expert opinions on the safety of using this product. I can't personally see the harm in using it, but I've been known to be a dolt in the past so I'm open for some constructive criticism. Here's the link: Chlorine Free Bleach - Seventh Generation

Thanks for your input!

Re: Chlorine-Free Bleach

I'm not an expert, but Seventh Generation's products are safe overall, and hydrogen peroxide should be fine. I know 7th Gen wouldn't use chlorine in any of their products. If there's anything wrong with using their bleach, I'll be as surprised as you.
