playpen..metal..paint

I built my guinea a playpen, its made of metal bars covered in white paint. When he bites the metal sometimes he can get the paint off, I know its not like lead paint or anything, so should i be worried? Ive taken him out of it, and dont plan on putting him back in until i get a response.

Well I know that I would not want to be eating paint and i don;t think it would be good for your pig either.

Any chemical would be bad for a guinea pig. Paint has numerous chemicals in it so I would say best not to leave your guinea pig in the pen.

Fixed the problem, apparently he was just freaking out cus he had nowhere covered to go, it was just a large open pen, i put in a little tunnel thing, now he is fine in there and doesnt chew.
