playpen..metal..paint I built my guinea a playpen, its made of metal bars covered in white paint. When he bites the metal sometimes he can get the paint off, I know its not like lead paint or anything, so should i be worried? Ive taken him out of it, and dont plan on putting him back in until i get a response.

Re: playpen..metal..paint Well I know that I would not want to be eating paint and i don;t think it would be good for your pig either.

Re: playpen..metal..paint Any chemical would be bad for a guinea pig. Paint has numerous chemicals in it so I would say best not to leave your guinea pig in the pen.

Re: playpen..metal..paint Fixed the problem, apparently he was just freaking out cus he had nowhere covered to go, it was just a large open pen, i put in a little tunnel thing, now he is fine in there and doesnt chew.
