We do not appreciate you trying to get the men all riled up just when we got them to like stuffed animals, lace and flowers and to openly cry and share their feelings.

Ha HA! You tell 'em VJ! I am seriously out numbered in my household (me and 2 sows amongst 4 boars, 1 male dog, 3 male cats, 2 little boys, and hubby)...I can't come here and be outnumbered too, it just wouldn't be fair. Gotta keep you mens in check!

PS I am 33, F, in the US, and owned by 7 pigs that live in proper CC quarters.

I just sat here laughing my butt off at some of these replies. Good clean entertainment there I tell ya!! I am a 40 year old female who has been known to do the Happy Dance at the register when I get carded for buying certain beverages Up until I got my 7 female piggies, I was the only female in my house. I have my husband, 2 teenage boys, 2 male dogs and 2 male birds. Still I managed to keep order in the house. Estrogen is a powerful thing. Now with 7 more females, my husband calls our home the "Hormone Alley" BTW, out front is a sign that reads "NO VACANCIES"

Yeah, I thought some of these responses were funny too. I'm a 22 year old female, with 4 guineas and 2 rats... the only male in my apartment is my betta fish, Gilbert! Lots of room for my babies to play in here. I'm finishing my undergraduate degree in sociology (Graduate in December) and volunteer with campus ministry at my church.. good stuff

Just had my 37th birthday. Hershey was one of my presents. he will get a 28wx29hx43L 2 floor cage in a few weeks when my cat is through convelesing.

Sk8 Kid - I don't want to be a vet but I do get ridiculed for being an animal activist...like against animal testing etc..teachers always say to me "choose between a human and animal". I think they are shocked when I say "Depends what human"

I was abit confused about this because I am planning a cage but not one that just meets the minimum standards - in fact one that excells them quite a bit, so I just put I have a cage with more, seeings as I will soon.

Did you rescue your piggie from a shelter? If so, which one? I have been trying to find a rescue shelter close to Terre Haute, IN. I have not found any that will respond to my e-mails that are any closer than Steger, IL. or Cinncinati, OH.
