| My Puffy is gone I am a total wreck right now. My beloved winter white hammie, puffnstuff just passed away.  I can't stop crying. |

| Re: My Puffy is gone Puffy was a girl. Thank you all for your kind words. I am still very torn up. She wasn't really very old, under a year. She had been running around her cage not long before my brother discovered she had passed away. She hadn't been gone long when he told me because she was still warm. I paced the house crying for half an hour just holding her. That should tell you how out of it and torn up I was. I had her almost as long as I have had Chatty. |

| Re: My Puffy is gone When I think about the animals I have lost, I take comfort in this, and I hope you will to. Our pets are not aware of death, and therefor do not fear it. There last moments are not like ours, with regrets and sadness that we have come to the end. All they are aware of is the care, protection, and happiness they have known, and continue to feel, until they pass. I know that you brought happiness to Puffy, and that's all she needed to pass on contently, regardless of how long her life was. |

| Re: My Puffy is gone Ly, I am so sorry. Those tiny little ones live so fast all the time, it seems that they can't live very long. I have had three dwarfs, they lived from 12-18 months. They would be very active and the next time I looked, they would be gone. Darling little gifts of God! |
