Just a heads up to animal lovers. This evening I found a dying bunny on the driveway. It's been hot and droughtlike here in WI. Not sure but it may have starved or dehydrated. Going to set out water dishes and greens for awhile. Thanks

Re: Piggies are fine, Rabbits not A wild one, one that I have seen around. Maybe a foot long and 2-3 lbs.

Re: Piggies are fine, Rabbits not He could have died from an illness. Wild creatures are good about finding water when they need it. I put water out sometimes for the neighborhood cats. My neighbor sticks her cat out side all day long with out water or food. I think the water is a good idea, may help some creature. :0)

Re: Piggies are fine, Rabbits not But would you just refresh it daily so it doesn't get stagnant? I might do that or build a little "Bunny Shelter" with it.

The wild birds will also appreciate a dish of water put outside for them. Obviously, if you live an area where there are cats, place it where they cannot reach it! Take care, Barbara |
