Women Drivers

[font=Times New Roman]This morning on Highway 78, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new ACURA doing 65 mph with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup.[/font]

[font=Times New Roman]As a man, I don't scare easily. But she scared me so much; I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my cell phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs, splashed, and burned Big Jim and the Twins, ruined the damn phone, soaked my trousers, and disconnected an important call.[/font]

You know what annoys me? I have this strange dislike (as in hot dogs for me... Not hate as in "I hate you! Stay away from me or I will kill you!" no, no that second one) Feminists. I don't get it! I mean, being a 12 year old girl, I may start a bit of contreversy over this, but femi nazis seem really weird!
It's not very lady like to go and yell at men for being men or having big 1000000 woman marches over how women get paid less than men! Just study and you'll be the CEO of an enourmous comapny and you'll be having men at your feet!
It's not pretty seeing women screaming at male politics!

Ok, I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, but the subject of women drivers just makes this spring into my mind!

I think feminists are objecting to the idea that there is such a thing as "ladylike" rather than just being who you are.
I also think that it's disrespectful to all the women who are being paid less for the same job than their male counterparts to suggest that if they'd just studied harder it wouldn't be a problem.
And isn't it nice to live in a country where you can protest about inequality without fear of government reprisal?

Taco, depending on your age, you may be missing some important history that might explain some things! The fact that you will be able to drive a car, cast a vote, own a home, and yeah, even go to college to have a chance to be that CEO, is thanks to feminist women who did protest. And it ain't over. Seems like no big deal to you if women make less than men for the same jobs? Think about it! Do you have a brother? How's this: "Hey, I want you both to wash the car today. I'm going to give Tom $5 for doing it, and I'll give you $1. You get less because you're a girl." I bet you'd protest!

Anyway, the history of the Women's Rights Movement is very interesting, you ought to read about it. It's real, it's true, and it isn't about screaming at men for being men!

I did know all that stuff. But once when I was little I saw this feminist (I don't remember when or where) but she was just screaming general hatred for men! I guess because I saw her so young I must have gotten the wrong idea about them...
(My brother probably wouldn't pay me less because I'm a girl... Probably becasue I'm his sister!

There is a big difference between a feminist and a woman who just plain hates men. The former only wants to be equal. The later is just full of hatred.

I see nothing wrong with women's equality marches. They just want to peacefully get thier message across like many other orginization who have big marches and other events.
