    Cheap grids!!!

I'm so happy! I spotted a craiglist ad for grids for $20. It didn't say how many grids but I emailed her back and said I have guinea pigs and use them to build cages but didn't want to spend more than .50 per grid. I asked her if she'd consider accepting .50 per grid. She emailed me back and said I could have all 22 for $5. Aside from the others I have, I only need 11 more to build another double decker cage. I'm on a mission now.....

I've been looking forever. I think garage sales are the best place to find them but I work Fridays and Saturdays so I never have a chance to go.

If you have a bed bath and beyond near you I got 4 cubes and 2 extra grids for 20 bucks. That's 19 grids which means its about 1$ for 1 grid.

We have C&C cage already, I just want more grids for super cheap if I can find them We were able to buy 22 grids for about $17 so it was well worth it.

Me, too. I'm trying to build my second cage as inexpensively as I can. I know that people throw them out so I'd just as soon as find the ones they're getting rid of instead of paying full price. It takes 49 grids for me to build a 2x4 double decker.

I sell used grids 2 for $1, and often 4 for $1. I am in Auburn, not too far from you.

Wow, those are some great prices. I got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond also. Best deal I could find. I called many, many places to get prices. Most sales associates didn't know what I was talking about. Looking at the stores web site proved to be the best way to go. The same day I found my second boar I went to town to get a second water bottle. On the way back, my son said mom, that house had cubes piled in their yard. I went around the block and left a note on their door to call me if they would like me to take away the cubes for them. They actually did and said come get them if you want them. They were going to throw them away. 23 grids in really good condition. It was a good day in my piggie world.

I love those great finds! After starting a new job about 3 years ago, one of my coworkers found out I make fleece pads for my cages. She came in with a whole Hefty bag of fleece blankets that were her kids'. She has four sons and they outgrew the kiddie patterns on them but they were all in excellent shape. I was really happy.
