I'm at school right now. My science class is starting soon. Science is such a drag. *sigh*

After school I have Tennis practice, so that should be fun. I was supposed to have my first Tennis match yesterday, an away game. But, you won't believe this. 5 minutes before my tennis team and I were supposed to leave, an announcement came over the loud speaker, "Excuse this interruption, the JV Girls Tennis Team game in Rutlang today, has been cancelled." And the reason for the match being cancelled? Because the Athletics Director of my school, "forgot to get my team a bus. I was so pissed off.

After Tennis practice, I have to take my dog and maybe my guinea pig to the vets.

What else is everyone up to today?

How annoying! I absolutely love tennis - not in a team or anything, but we often play at lunchtime. It's so much fun, and practice does defnately make perfect. About 2 years ago I sucked, but then I played nearly everyday and got tons better.

Which science do you have? I don't mind it... thinking about doing one (probably biologo or chemistry) next year.

I wasn't feeling that good today, so I took the day of school. Just been at home really, not done much =( I'm going over to a friends house at 6ish.

Probably going shopping tomorrow, I need some ideas for my prom clothes.

Enjoy school while you are there. I have a good 20 years on you two :-) I get the honor of spending my day at a desk working on a computer all day surrounded by grumpy people.

I've got a paper to write for my modern philosophy class. That's going to keep my busy for some time. Ugh.

And I'm going out later for drinks with my boyfriend.

Yeah, everyone says that - enjoy secondary school. I do though, it's good fun.

What's your job zakfoxmom? I want to do something design orientated, my 'back up' being a job to do with animals

Wooh, today we have a half day of school !!!!! )))) I'm going to see the school play with a bunch of my friends. Should be pretty fun.

Piglet - I am a legal secretary for the City of San Diego. Something design oriented would be neat. I never wanted to work with animals though because I get too depressed and upset when they are sick or injured :-)

Hey, your job doesn't seem to bad! I've always been interested in the interior of homes, and such. Even though I'm not superb at drawing, I enjoy it and I am ok. It's early days yet...

Heh. I wouldn't say ENJOY secondary school (unless you're at a really nice school - mine wasn't so great). I'd say, don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy all the time and how easy you have it. I mean, I'm just a freshman (almost a sophomore) in college, but MAN - I miss all the time I had. I really miss being able to depend on someone else to get stuff done - food, laundry (to a certain extent), and money for incidental things (movies, candy, etc.). I know my parents would give me the money if I asked them for it, but there's something wrong about asking mommy and daddy for money to go buy a new DVD when you're in college.

Not saying milk it for all it's worth, but... just be really thankful for all that you've got now.

In other news, it's finals week and I'm exhausted. Piggy snuggles makes it all okay, though ^.^

Yeah, although I think it was a lot different when I was in high school compared to now. I hear that there is way more homework. I just think that everyone should enjoy their time and make the most of it. Not that after high school or college its terrible but I thinks its just a time that you can be more carefree.

The job isn't too bad. The benefits are great. I could never do interior design. When my huband and I bought our condo he was the one that actually decorated it. I am terrible at that kind of thing.

I have to say, I do love my school. The teachers are great, I have a blast with my friends - there isn't a moment that goes by in silence or without laughter. This september, when I go into sixth form it's going to be a total change. You can't depend on the teachers no more, it's all up to you, which is a tad scary! Then it's off to uni which is very SCARY. Eek, I can't imagine not living at home.

Piglet, that is great though that you have the opportunity to experience being more responsible on your own without the teachers as much. I didn't have that in high school and when I got to college I actually had a bit of a difficult time learning to it. I think its great that you enjoy school so much!

My school is a dump. Currently we are on probation to lose accredidation. The halls are to narrow, and there arn't enough classrooms so 3-4 of the teachers have little carts they push around with all their things on them. Our couse selections are awful, no choices. It is the smallest high school in Connecticut with 340 kids in 7-12 grade.

I always used to say I hate school. I never wanted to go back after, say, summer holidays. But now I've realised it's one of the best. I went to other schools for little one day visits and they are awful... teachers don't give a damn. I think it's because it's a girls school. Yes, it has some downsides - the only guys you can fancy are your teachers! (eww). But, the ambiance is fantastic. It's so relaxed... you can chat about anything with anyone. We are fortunate, student's parents donate lots and lots of money, so our school is absolutely huge. However there are over a 1000 students!! It takes about 10 minutes to get from one class to another. Anywho, that's enough about my school!!!!

Slap, that sounds awful. Isn't there any chance that you can move?

I had a teacher in-service day. I went with my sister to the doctor (she had to have a college physical.) Then we went to McDonalds and then shopping. I just took a nap.

Oh... I know this is old, but I saw Supersize me yesterday. It was so good - glad we don't have those ridiculous sizes over here!

I should be moving in August, with my mom. We are moving to the city so I have to leave my horse behind. I will still own him, though. I just won't get to see him very often.
