Pet Store Cages

Since we are moving Im getting rid of a bunch of the petstore cages I have lying around. I really dont want to sell them in the garage sale we are having, but I cant think of anything else to do with them. Do any of you guys want them for something. They make good travel cages. There is nothing wrong with them I just have too many. They are 16inx24in and 18inx22in. Do you think a shelter would want them? I would rather throw them away than have them used to house guinea pigs and rabbits. Im going to call our Humane Society and see if they want them. If they dont and none of you guys want them Im just going to toss them in a dumpster.

You can always use them for something else. When I'm not using my quarntine cage I use the "cage" for storage of things like old vhs movies and old music tapes and my vcr(I know, I'm a pack rat). I use the "pan" to prop up the dvd player and PS2 (I don't like to put electronics on the floor. The pan is nothing but a blue rectangular box so noboady knows that it was once a "deluxe guinea pig home")

It's just a pain to get it put back together for quarntine (like I just had to do for Kero )

Try to give them to a rescue or shelter. Don't throw them away.

Use them like Sabriel said, or use it as a carrier when you are moving/going to vet. Another good thing to put in it: Guinea pig/Rabbit supplies

I had like five of them. Im keeping two foldable ones and one wasent worth saving. I have two that I need to get rid of. I think I'll donate them to the shelter. They could probably use them. Thanks.
