I was planning on picking up my mother daughter pair this week. Well a few weeks ago my dog got a cherry eye on his other eye. (We did cherry eye surgery to years ago on other eye). I have been treating as well as it can be but not getting better. Which means he will be having surgery next week. I am not nervous about it as i work at the vet and will watch it being done with the best doctor and best tech. Also I will get it discounted. The thing is the money I was planning to use to get the will go towards the surgery. Kind of sad but I would rather take care of what I have. I will be spending time here still till i can get them, so no worries. |

My chihuahua dog had both eyes that had to have surgery also on this. Don't worry, you've been through it already and it will be fine. And no worries, you will have enough money saved up before long to get you some more piggies that need a good home, and look at it this way, more time you can spend learning all you can about them before you get them. Don't give up!!! |

Well with cherry eye, there is no sure thing. Luckily the one eye has been fine for about a year and half. Feel bad as he just had a dental cleaning right before this came out and hate that he will be sedated again. But he will get bloodwork and all the best precautions and care. My poor little man. He is not even three and he has had some hardship. Starting out as a very sick shelter puppy that i just had to save. Then a battle with scabies and an ongoing battle with IBS since he was three months old. He is worth every bit of effort. |

Would like to add that i could still afford them really, but i am also in the process of x-mas shopping, and i will really like to spend on people. I am not going to give up, just take it a bit slower. I will still be making the liners soon as my sewing machine will be here tomorrow. I will be buying all the stuff i need, just slower. Will also be talking to rescues regularly. |

Now you're in the waiting game with me. It's fun collecting all of the supplies and if you aquire them slowly before getting your pigs then I think it's even more fun because it's spread out. I have so much fun with it. I've been collecting supplies since the summer (I acutally have two packages coming in the mail today), and I think it's so great to spread the joy and little bit. Plus you'll be really prepared for you piggies spending all of the extra time before you get them learning on this website. |
