Has anyone seen this website? Guinea Pig Care and Health Information It has nothing on breeding that I can find, only links about pregnancy. It also highly recommends C&C cages. It seems pretty good, any thoughts on it? ETA: It also suggests guinealynx as a great medical site.       |

Looks good. I love the photos. My tween daughter loves to come to this site (only when supervised) But the odd time i found her sneeking on to read posts I.E the one with about petsmart and that awful breeding clip. I have now have her signed up to guinea lynx kids. Don't know if it's part of this site or not but it's a fun site for kids. Under 13 needs parent concent. |

There was another thread about this site here: http://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/links/46870-guinea-pigs.html I think it's a good site, but she does have a link to some of Peter Gurney's info (a breeder with mainly outdated/wrong information). |

I know he's a breeder and many members here said his info is all wrong. But there are some pages on Guinea Lynx that refer to his site. http://www.guinealynx.info/furmites.html http://www.guinealynx.info/impaction.html http://www.guinealynx.info/article_4.html Since we all reference Guinea Lynx for medical issues, maybe his site is not all that bad? This is very confusing. |

The Jackie's GP site has removed the breeding info and replaced it with pregnancy info for those looking for advice and tips when they have an unintentional or otherwise accidental pregnancy to deal with. To my knowledge there is no longer any breeding info or anything that hints breeding info. Whether or not a link to Jackie's site can stay here based on her links to Peter Gurney's info is possibly a matter for debate with the other moderators here, and ultimately up to Teresa, so I will leave that to their judgment. Lissie, I do want to point out that two of the sites you've linked merely mention Peter Gurney's name, and the only link to his site is regarding impaction information. GL is most certainly not recommending any of his methods or advice. |
