I rescued Bambi today from a gassing facility in North Carolina today. The place is honestly disgusting-they still use gassing chambers, they offer NO vet care (not even worming), and they sell the cats to labs to be tested on. Today when I went there I had the intention of taking home 1 dog so I could foster and rehome him, however when I got there I saw this little girl with the biggest bloated belly I have ever seen, infested with fleas, and she has missing fur on her feet and tail. Obviously I could not leave her there. She has worms, giardia, and some type of fungal infection. This is all going to add up to A LOT of money and on my college budget it is really hard. I have setup a site on fundable.com to hopefully this will help out with some/all of the vet bills. Please check it out and pass it on if you can. She is being treated for her fungal infection, but her results may take up to a month to receive so we are hoping the treatment that we have her on will work.
