Okay, So I was listening to the news, and found out that ellen degeneres is taking Paula Abduls Place on American Idol. Don't get me wrong I like Ellen as a person in hollywood. She just doesn't seem right for that position? Am I right? It will me an interesting year with her and Simon, working together.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Ellen is supposed to be a comedian... I don't know if she would take AI seriously at all, but I guess it could work. I like the way she dances... Ha, sort of. And I cant wait to see her and Simon clash. I sense something bad will happen between them, or is it just me?

And Jackie Chan should've been the new judge! He's the most awesome guy on the planet. Either him or the voice of Spongebob.

And I don't think I like the 4th lady, much. Does she really contribute anything at all to the show?

Oh my God...you stole my thread!! Haha, JK. But, Ellen? I mean, I love her to death, but I don't see what she can bring to the table musically. However, I think I will find her more entertaining than Paula Abdul.

Even though he wasn't on the list, I think Justin Timberlake would make a good judge! Adam Lambert (I looove that guy) suggested him in an interview and I couldn't agree more!

Yup your right. I watch her everyday. She can't dance and i doubt she can hold a note let alone a tune. But my gosh she is sooo funny.

I personally hate American Idol but I love Ellen. She's hilarious. Don't really know if she is right for the show but it should be quite interesting nonetheless.

Adam Lambert would make a terrific judge!! I didn't know Ellen was going to be the new judge, it should be pretty entertaining to see how Simon acts with her.

I love America Idol! Ellen is great too. I had no idea she was gonna be the new judge, odd. I'm actually glad its not Adam Lambert, I don't really like him. I thought Kris Allen was much better.

I watch AI every year, and like it pretty well, Paula was getting on my last nerve, and Kara

not so much either, ha! Ellen, I agree, not so sure what she's going to "bring" in the aspects of judging singers performances at all!! I mean are they just going to give her "scripts" of things to say, and just rotate the comments....wait, isn't that what Paula used to do? HA!

I read that she says she is judging from a perspective of someone who likes to listen to good music.
