Star Adoption is the only option.

YouTube - Dr. Death - Euthanizing animals, dogs, cats

Just a foreword: I would grab a tissue or two before you watch it.

I am indeed preaching to the choir, but......it would be a very very excellent idea if you posted an ad with a link to that video in your local craigslist, kijiji, and other such sites. I did, I posted one ad with the link in my local, and another in a city fairly close to mine.

I am in college now for vet tech, and once I'm done with that I'm going to graduate and apply to veterinary school so I can achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian.

The only thing I must honestly admit that I am not looking forward to is euthanizing animals. It's different when the euthanasia is ending their suffering, yes, but still.

And I also plan on volunteering for or being hired by a shelter sometime soon, and even when I'm a vet, I can still volunteer at whatever local shelter there may be.

Right now, I volunteer for a no-kill safe-for-life all breed cat & dog rescue. I do think time and time again about also volunteering at my local animal control shelter, and I probably will pretty soon. I've been holding off because I've been afraid of the emotional aspect of it, which I avoided by volunteering with a rescue instead. But I suppose that if you're there long enough, you get used to it.

I've had people come into our very cheery rescue area, and get all quiet and say to me "Gosh, it's just so sad that all these poor animals don't have a home to call their own". I guess I'm just used to it by now, this rescue I'm with never realy bothered me at all, and I've been there for one whole year now.

Anyways. Spread this video around like wildfire!!
