The location of the pignic has changed! It will now be held at Sandymount Park, 2222 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD. This park does have treated grass, so please bring a blanket to put under your playpen.**
This is a fun-filled day for all--including your piggies. Our Fall PIGSTRAVAGANZA! Pignic is held under a pavilion, and next to a grassy area. There is plenty of room for piggie playpens. And, no need to worry about the grass, as it's not treated. Those of you who have piggies sensitive to clover, though, may want to be careful where you place your pen or bring a "pignic blanket" to place under your pen. If you don't want your pigs to mingle with others, be sure to bring your own playpen. Refreshments, both for you can your
cavies, are highly recommended. For our human guests, will will be selling baked goodies; handmade pillows, blankets, and beds for piggies; and general guinea pig supplies like pellets, Carefresh, and hay. Bring your wallet, and feel good knowing that all proceeds are going to the rescue.

Directions: From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), take exit 19 for I-795N towards Reisterstown. Continue on I-795 until the expressway ends. Follow the signs for Reisterstown Regional Park, staying in the left lane. Take a left at the first light onto Rt. 140 west. Follow the sign that says to Mitchell Drive. Turn left onto Mitchell Drive (2nd quick opening in highway). Make left at STOP sign and proceed across interchange into the park. Park entrance is straight ahead.
The PIGstravaganza has been a great success in previous years, and we look forward to an even bigger and better event this year.
