I got a horse!

Hello,

I had horses when I was younger and recently I have been riding again and so I have loaned a horse. She's beautiful and called Elmira. I have unfortunately puled a ligament in my thigh . So now I have three piggies and one horse! I don't plan to introduce them though!

Lucky you! I love horses so much, and I used to horseback ride, but the stables were really far away . Have fun!

You are so lucky!! I love horses to death, they are such amazing creatures. Yes, what breed is she? I ride an Arabian named Larry who is the biggest teddy bear ever. I also love riding my cousin's Quarter Horse, Tex, although I like Arabian's better-their gaits are smoother, but Quarter Horses are just so cool!

I agree, I rode an Arabian named Prince, he was so smooth. I haven't been riding in awhile though, I want to start back up.

Thanks for all the kind messages. She is a polish warmblood. Dark Bay and an absolute beauty! I love her. She is like a bigger, fatter arabian. I am taking good care of her, she is on a livery yard near my new house and everyone there is so friendly. They have the softest most sweet smelling hay so I think I'll be bringing it home as a treat for the piggies as well as their usual oxbow hay.

The horse is called L-Mira, my niece is called Verity! She is 16.3 so quite large but I used to have a shire horse who was 17.2 so I'm used to it. I love having her an so do the pigs- they get lots of lovely soft hay to play in!

You have no idea how jealous I am right now. :0

Congrats though and she is beautiful!! I am working on volunteering at our local stable. Its called Aspire Therapeutic Riding Program and helps kids with disabilities. Hopefully it will get me closer and I will learn a few things about horses!

Congrats on the neice also!
