Though I don't know the fellow you met, I've had several occasions to be in dog agility trials with Greg Louganis, the former Olympic diver, and oh, my goodness, what a treat it is just to be in the general area that absolutely beautiful and talented specimen of mankind is in, LOL. And like the fellow you describe, SO very gracious and charming not at all full of himself. I totally get what you are saying BA, even if John were straight, I doubt he'd see anything in me that would make him want to run off with this 43 year old short, pudgy woman. It was just a huge pleasure to meet him and chat with him. He is also tall and very well built, he has nice buttocks too!

He may be cast as the role of Capt. America in the film that will be coming out in 2011 but there's no confirmation on that as of yet. There are rumors going around. I think it would be kewl to see him in that role as he is muscular and I think he could play the part well. He'd look great in spandex! He's also in talks about becoming a regular on Desperate Housewives. I've never watched the show but be assured that I would watch it if he were in it.

I was just impressed with him being a very down to earth guy. He didn't put on airs, he was just genuine and nice. I think many actors should be more like him. If it weren't for fans, these actors would be nothing. It's the fans that make them who they are and many actors would do well to remember that.

Even John's lady traveling companion (the actress? who's name I still can't remember) was very nice and she shook hands with me and talked to me. She didn't seem to be stuck up or haughty either.

That'd be awesome if he does get casted, I'd actually watch it, ha. I have to agree with the spandex comment too, hehe.

Hee! Torchwood and Dr. Who fans! We are fanatics here. My four year old has Webkinz named The Doctor, Rose, Martha, Donna, Jackie, Mickey, Sarah Jane, Captain Jack and Dalek. I love you people. We had a solicitor from Cardiff come and talk to us in Criminal Procedure. He asked us what we knew about Cardiff. I was wearing a shirt with the TARDIS on it that day and called on me when nobody raised their hands.

"Young lady in the TARDIS shirt, do you know anything about Cardiff?"
"Canary Wharf is there and there's a rift in the time/space contiuum you can refuel the TARDIS at." We were the only two people to get it.
