I am sooo excited. I have wanted a chinchilla for years, and finally I am getting one today  A lady had a standard grey baby on CL that she decided to rehome (she is around 3 1/2 months old) and she is ADORABLE! She even did kind of like a Q&A session with me over email to make sure I would provide adequate care because she wasn't going to let the little darling go off to just anyone.I have a Ferret Nation 142 all set up for her with a fleece hidey, and I have ordered her a saucer wheel + "landings" Anyone else here have chinchi's?        |

I had two, a grey named Timmy and a white named Charlie. My mom's a vet and they were getting picked on real bad at her work by the other ones so we brought them home. Chinchilla's are amazing! They just need plentyyyyy of run time. Both of mine are gone now, old age, but I loved having them. Good luck! |

I have 3, 2 boys Arthur and Onyx and a girl Bella. I also have a very large ferret cage but I changed mine a lot. My Chins dont like any of the metal ramps or levels so I went out and bought wood to replace everything. Before I did this they spent all their time on their wooden ledges so I figured that would be happier will wood everywhere and they are!! Good luck with your new "baby" and keep us updated. |

Yep I have 4: Binx(standard grey), Phoenix (homogenius beigte), Oona (white mosaic) and Pooka (standard grey). They are SO much fun! I got them all on craigslist...two for free! Good luck with your new baby |

Well I got my Luna a friend I named her Lexi and she's a white ebony with possible TOV. She's absolutely gorgeous (but so is Luna ofcourse!! :b). Will post pics sooonnnn - at work right now.I am also getting another little girl in September... she is pink white. I love chinchi's as much as cavies now |

Congratulations. My friend's older brother has a Chinchilla. I really want one too. I'll probably get one once I got to College(going to an all vet school that I 'Think' allows pets on campus so..) and a couple cavies |

I adore chinchillas, they're gorgeous, unfortunately right now i just don't have the space for another cage, but as soon as i'm in a bigger place i'm definately going for it! Let us know how it goes! |
