Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Many of you have probably seen the youtube and other place's videos of real cats using the same toilet(s) that you and I use whenever they need to go to the bathroom. I was wondering how you get a cat to do this? We're picking up our adopted kitten from the shelter on Tuesday, and I want to teach her to use toilets exclusively. Does anyone have any websites or books that you know of that have step by step guides on how to successfully teach/train cats to do that? Oh, and I also want to teach her to flush her own stuffs. In all of the videos I've seen, the cats always flush when they're done ![]() Oh yeah, and if your cat(s) already does this, then that would be helpful too of course, if you remember how you taught them. Thanks in advance!! |

My brother used this for his cat. Try a Google search to find tips and tricks. There are even books devoted to toilet training your cat - check Amazon. |

My friend also uses this, it seems to be working. Good luck, you just have to remember to keep the bathroom door open! |

Those things look like a great idea! I actually just ordered a different brand of the same exact thing, I think it's by CitiCats or something like that....but anyway, it's virtually the same thing, and I can't wait to get it! hehe Oh, and we always leave the bathroom doors open 24/7 anyways, I'll just have to remember to leave the lid up once they no longer need the training seat. |
