Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Just decided I am going to invent a "Baby-Proof" wipes container! Looked all over my house for wipes to clean the baby's bum and couldn't find them until I went in my 2-year-old's room and found them all out of the container, stuffed in a hanging storage unit! All dried out of course. And yesterday the plumber came out and snaked our sewer - seems the boys had decided it would be fun to flush an entire package of wipes down the toilet! I was mortified when the plumber kept pulling out wipes (for an entire hour!!!!). So - baby-proof wipes is going to be brilliant! (I've tried hiding them, putting them where the 2-year-old can't reach, etc. Apparently I have a monkey, he finds it wherever I put it! |

I feel your pain! My now 3 year old used to do that all the time and I never could find any wipes! He would stuff them in his toys and basically any other place he could find! Drives a person nuts afte a while ! If you think of something let me know! |

LOL. My kids LOVES wipes as well. I let them have 1 or 2 to play with once in a while. They used to play with them more but they arnt forbidden so they have lost interest. THey are now more interested in wires and plugs and outlets. LOL Luckly we have blocked off 99% of them. I recomment instead of making a baby proof one (which they will figure out anyways...) Set aside a time each day to play gemes with the wipes. You CAN fold them up and put them back most times. You can save money by adding a little water once they are dried out too. Play games with them and eventually they will lose their magic and appeal! Play pull the wipie until they are all gone. Fold them up and put them back when they are done. Play stuff the wipie, where you find toys they like to stuff wipies into (toilet paper tubes my boys like the best!) and them put the wipies back when done. Wave the wipie, eat the wipie, clean with the wipie (I like this one our tv is always clean...) I hope this helps!!! |
