I swear... there must be something in a man's genetic make up that tells him just what to to to annoy his "better half" My husband, our 15 month old son and I all went to the grocery store today. It was a struggle to even get him to go... HEAVEN FORBID he leave his XBox for an hour or two. I had no problems whatsoever with my son, but my husband acted like a child!!! Every aisle we went down "Honey, can we get this?" and when ever I turned my back for a second, he would try to sneak something into the buggy!!!! Needless things too, like those mini boxes of cereal, cookies, bubble gum. By the time we left the store, I felt like I had two kids. We get home, and I go to unload the groceries, and find two empty cereal boxes and an empty chip bag in the cabinent, and an empty milk jug in the fridge!!! Jeez.... how hard is it to walk three feet to the trashcan?! And this is just today's list of irritating things. I love the man to death, but he drives me crazy sometimes! |

I feel your pain, my boyfriend is the same way! It sure does make you feel like you have more then one child! Sometimes my 3 year old son acts more grown up then he does. It definetly must be a guy thing! |

Sometimes when my 9 year-old and 5 year-old argue about something, my husband argues with them too. I always feel like I have 3 kids. |

Ugh! I feel for you! Except my husband is the one who usually is paying for the groceries (since he takes most of my money at the beginning of every month), so *I* am the one having to ask "Can we get this?" Simply because I don't know what we have to spend! But he argues with our three-year-old every time the poor kid wants to express his independence. And then he wonders why our son will not listen to the word "no" when it comes from him! I hate going to the store with both of them, too! |
