We have 6 piggies, one dog(pit bull mix), 4 cats , and 2 female rats.

We have 2 gerbils, 1 guinea pig, 1 parakeet, 1 betta fish, 1 cat, a 55 gallon tank with assorted tropical fresh water fish (about 19), and a 29 gallon tank with 6 tropical fresh water fish in it. We have a zoo.

I have:

2 guinea pigs (Ted and Henry)
1 rabbit (Nibbles)
2 hermit crabs (Eliza and Ginger)
And we just got a dog on Thursday night. (She's a mixture of a pointer and a terrier. Her name is Maggie and she hasn't gone close to the piggies yet.)

(amazon, quaker, 2 indian ringnecks, 10 parakeets all part of the rescue who need homes, as is one of the geckos, but she may just stay here)

2 guinea pigs, were also rescue but they are estimated to be at least 6, and one has a tumor, so they will just reside here.
Tomorrow we are on our way to get 6 more pigs.

As of today that is 42, Sunday we will be at 48

I think that's it. I had a hamster too, but she just passed recently.

Wow! and i thought i had a lot of pets! i don't fell so alone anymore

let's see i have 1 very active border collie, 2 parakeets, 20ish gerbils(it's a long story), 2 degus, and we have a cat who visits us a lot!( were thinking of adopting him, but with our dog it bears a problem)

I am also planning on adopting a cat in about a year. Possibly. I'll be going toward my bachelors and want to make sure I'll be able to handle the new school, workload, what not and still have enough time to devote to another animal.

Hi all, I am new to this board. I have learned a lot of things I didn't know!

I have 1 American male piggy named Gus~Gus (my lil piggy)

I actually got him off of Craigslist 3 weeks ago from a college student who was graduating and moving..I am a stay at home mom so we get to play together all the time. Hes really sweet but was a little skiddish at first..So I handle him a little at the time but a little longer each time. We are getting to know each other really well! I was told he is 2 years old. Does anyone know if I will be able to potty train him? His new cage delivered on Friday and hoping I can start potty training him.

1 de-clawed flame point Himalayan named Jack (hubby's pet)(adopted him about 3 years ago and he was already de-clawed)..He likes Gus~Gus..he sniffs and walks away but I still don't trust them alone!

1 male Betta (my 10yr olds pet)

1 hermit crab (my 11yr olds pet)

4 gerbils.. (2 females belong to my son and 2 males belong to my daughter)..No plans on EVER breeding. Kids know they have to keep them separate..thank goodness all 4 are different colors!!!!

Yikes, I thought we had a zoo here. We've got:

4 indoor kitties (MylesCat, DaisyGirl, TygerKitty, and EmmyGirl)
2 guinea pigs (CharleyCharley and Riley (aka Little Guy))
2 outdoor kitties (MommaKitty and Scrubby)
a 75 gallon freshwater tank w/ lots o' fish in it

You guys have a lot of animals!! I only have 2 cats [Kiki (male!) and Sox (Female)]. I guess I have like .5 of a dog because my neighbor is a salesman so we always take care of his black lab Aspen and let her over at our house...sometimes "stay the night"! My guinea pig Mog passed away maybe 2 weeks ago. I am adopting 1 or 2 more around July 6-7. It is so specific because it is after our family vacation but before I get my tonsils out!

Congrat's on the adoption. Get two.

Have fun on vacation and good luck with getting the tonsils out. I had mine removed when I was 5. Lots of Hawaiian shaved ice. Stay away from dairy.

My family and I have 8 wonderful guinea pigs. We have 5 sows and 3 boars. If I had more space I am sure I would have even more. Yes the boys and girls are seperated

If we could we would adopt every animal that needed a home.
