Flying with pigs

I was thinking about moving back to my hometown and I was wondering if it's hard to fly across borders with pigs? I don't want to move back if I can't bring her with me. Any good experiences? Bad ones?? Is it difficult? Thanks for all your help!

I can't see it really being a problem. Both my parents worked with the airlines for years (Air Canada). Lots of people bring their pets with them places, and lots of people move, so I don't see what would be a big deal about it. You may have to pay a bit more for them to fly though.

It will also depend on which country you are going to and the quarenteen (sp) rules. I know that if you were moving to NZ it would be tricky as we have strict bio-security rules.

I think you should be ok then, except for the little bit of extra money. I wouldn't go with Air Canada (unless you have to). They have to be the most expensive buttheads ever! A lot of people are complaing about their pet rules and overall crappy service, that's why my parents quit haha.
