Puppy Mill Raid

There was a puppy mill raid in Bethany, CT. Many of the dogs bought by owners were so sick they had to be put down.

Sometimes I really don't understand people.

Re: Puppy Mill Raid

I saw this. Apalling. Maybe this will help some people see the harm in breeding.

I don't know if this is true but some people were intervewied. It was the boyarskies (w.e their name is), friends. They said they were never abused and they were crying. They thought someone had it out for them. Someone was due to pick up a puppy today and saw nothing wrong when they visitied.

Personally, I think it's all a load of **** (censored by OP). THose animals did not look healthy and 3 dead birds were found.

Re: Puppy Mill Raid

Its quite sad... and what's going to happen to these people who caused these animals (and families) pain and suffering.

I am not one completly against breeding, but there are very very few (almost none) truly responsible, reputable breeders in the world today. I know of ONE, and they have a saying "A truly reputable breeder takes full responsibility for the lifetime of the dogs bred, and will not be a burden on humane societies or shelters with their dogs."

It bugs me. While soo many people dedicate their time to help those animals in need (shelter animals), the big problem isn't being solved. I want to do something, to make a difference and to help the truly one big problem of the world - more than just dedicating my spare time to the shelters. Things need to be more strict. If anyone has any ideas, I'm up for trying to make a difference. It may or may not work, but I'm willing to try to do something more.
