Just a thought..but my husband is one of those tuff manly man...you know,,dont watch chick flicks..dont cry..ect. But you know what..When I brought Charlie home..he picked him up right away..and he plays with him every day. I think guys are all talk. But it's cute watching those 2.

My husband is like that too. Especaily with Princess Fluffy. Thats his baby. We now have 23 piggies.

I find it so cute when my dad or my brother plays with them. My brother used to be all tough and used to call the pigs dumb and stupid, but now he picks them up and checks up on them.

No, my dad's still a stubborn, pig-headed tough guy. Y'know, gotta go out into the forest now and kill a big ol' buck. Gotta go pick up heavy things. Gotta go brood. Alot. I love him though. Hehe. Actually, the other day I saw him talking to my pigs. it was pretty funny.

My whole family has turned around though. at first, they said I couldn't have pigs, and then when I did get them they said that I had made a mistake... But now, my family loves them! Whenever they are upstairs they will go and check up on them. Its great

Last time I checked, I was a guy.

Not only do I care for and cuddle the guinea pigs, I'm also the sole source of financing and the one who posts on forums like these about our pigs.

Those little ones just wheek their way into your heart.

They do. We were only supposed to have 3 and we ended up getting more and more. My husband would ask me to pick one up so he can hold them. I cant bend down much and the cage being so large.

They sure do chad. My friends really think I'm weird because I'm always going on about them and all I ever hear is' They're only guinea pigs'. I think you need to own them and then you understand how great they are.

I sure missed out on alot until I got Charlie..I didnt think they were so cuddlie and social. Now I know.

My mom thats way too she doesn't say there only guinea pigs her thing is I talk about them to much! And that I'm on guinea pig sites alot ! But come on I'm here to learn how to be a parent to my piggies I don't see the harm in that!

Unfortunately I have noone to talk to about my piggies. My husband and children could care less. I was so amazed when I found out about this site. I must have spent a small fortune on them already. I'm forever spending money on them. Upgrading their cages, what a fortune I have spent already. But when I see them stretched out relaxing without a care in the world and they look so content, its all worth it. Thats my reward.

It really irritates me when I talk to someone about my guinea pigs and then they say, " You really like those hamsters."

Me: " They're guinea pigs!"

Other: " Same thing..."

My mother wasn't crazy about them at first, but now she loves them as much as I do. Both of my brothers thought they were dumb but I see them pet them from time to time. Although one of my brothers just came back from a trip to Peru, and I see him eye my piggies hungrily. He told me they're really tasty with Hollaindaise sauce o_O;;.

I hear you misspiggy. I told my dad about them piggies we got he said to me ohhhhhhhhh I'll shoot em and cook it. He said jokenly. i told hom I DONT THINK SO. My mom and dad said oh rodents like gerbals, hamsters. they both are the same thing. I said no piggies dont bite and they love to be petted. Your brother better not think about it.
