So I was taking care of this little white mouse for a few days and I'll just get right to it. THE DAY I got it, I put it in what I thought was a secure tank. Hah. I walked into my room a few hours later to find it... ONTOP OF MY CURTAIN ROD. As soon as I got it back down I laughed so hard haha! I guess he got out and climbed up my curtains and was just chillin' at the top! Brave little thing too though, as many of you know I also have a snake(this mouse was NOT snake food) and he was located directly above the place where I keep the snake.  Either a very brave mouse, or a very stupid one!No I'm not taking care of the mouse anymore.        |

It's good the mouse didn't get lost/eaten. In the future, you may want to keep any mouse in a more secure enclosure, away from the snake. |

Well the snake was locked in. But when I came in he was sniffing the top of the cage. Yeah, I put a rock on the lid after that. |

I'm sorry, not to be rude, but I wouldn't find the situation funny. If any animal of mine (or one I was entrusted to look after) got loose, especially in the same house as a predator animal, I wouldn't be laughing. |

Well thats you. I'm just glad he didn't get on the floor. I'd have never found him if he was on the floor. And the predator animal is a very small ball python that is LOCKED in it's tank. The only danger this mouse could have gotten in was if it found a wire and chewed on it or I lost it or something. I'm just glad he went ontop of my curtains instead. |
