Does anyone here have it?

I thought about getting one to do spot cleanings around the guinea pig cage and my room, but a lot of the reviews I'm reading are saying the suction isn't the best. I'd hate to buy something that sucks or better yet, can't suck!

I have the Shark handheld. It sure does suck! The only complaint I have is that the holding basket inside is a little small.

Other than that, it's a really great vacuum. I recommend it.

I bought a Kone when I found one on sale, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It doesn't have a lot of suction, is very heavy, and the shape is awkward and difficult to hang onto.

I have one and I think it's pretty great... that being said I think probably I'm more enamored of the aesthetics of the thing than the functionality. It's suction is pretty good but the catch basket thing fills up fairly quickly and it soon sucks at sucking if you don't empty it out. I wouldn't recommend it for GP cage cleanouts as you would likely have to empty it 5+ times in the course of a cleaning. It works well for my purposes of nut shell/ seed/ bread crumbs and other such assorted discards from parakeet feeding, but cavy poos- probably not so effective. And yeah, it's a sort of awkward to hold. And the charging status light thing is annoying- it does not turn off when fully charged, or even dim. It's like a beacon of light slicing though a dark room right into your eyes as you try to sleep... *ehem* It is an effective reminder to turn off the powerstrip to save electricity, I'll give it that. And I still coo with delight whenever I look at it. Heh. So pretty...

Maybe one of those mini-vacs would be better?

Though something to think about is maybe you don't want suction that would put black holes to shame. If your fleece is loose it will get sucked up into the nozzle and be rather annoying that way, too.
