A litter a kittens.....

Well a month ago (Maybe a week or so longer), we visited some friends in another town we hadn't seen in a while, and a few days before she called us to say she had found a momma cat and 4 kittens in her shed, and that she had put some cat food out for her and asked if we knew how to sex them, my mom said that I did (which is true), and so I was itching to go to her house, but before we left I printed out a sheet of paper so if I couldn't see them, she could later, well what do you know I couldn't see them, I got within 3 feet of her and the mom cat started hissing, well she called us back a week or two later and her daughter (grown up and moved out), caught them, and had them in her apartment, and the mom was eating, she is keeping one that is a girl that looks just like there old cat (which had to be put down because he was so sick), and named her Tiger (they're old cats name was Tigger), and she is trying to get her dad to keep Ditsy (yeah I know, Scott, her friend named her that, because she is always running into things), I'm crossing my fingers he does, and I think she found homes for the other two with some of her co workers, and I don't know what they are going to do about the mom, she either has the worst infected eye you have ever seen or she lost it, if it's really bad they might have to put her down.

Re: A litter a kittens.....

The Momma Cat could have Herpes in her eye. If that's the case, then the kittens need to be checked for it as well. Have none of them seen a vet?

No, none of them have, I don't know when she is going to take them. Okay, I'll tell her about that, thanks.

Edit- Yikes, I googled herpes in cats eyes, and one of the picctures that it showed looked a lot like it, I'll ask my mom to tell her!
