Has anyone used PetiCures on pigs?

I have been seeing commercials latley for an electric nail filer called PETICURES. I only saw them used on dogs and cats in the commercial, but does that mean they can't be used on pigs? It claims they prevent possible injury by not cutting the qwick. Has anyone used these, and are they safe for pigs?

I've been seeing that commercial as well. I'm glad you asked this question, I'll be keeping an eye on the responses you get.

Re: Has anyone used PetiCures on pigs?

I saw one at walmart and I wanted it sooo bad, but it was like $40. I bought a regular pet nail trimmer instead and I can't get my guinea to sit still long enough for that (I got one nail cut) so I don't think it's very likely that she'll sit there long enough for me to sand her toenails away one at a time. I'm just so afraid I'm going to hurt her and I can't get her to stay still long enough.

Re: Has anyone used PetiCures on pigs?

I went to the site and watched some videos. I don't think it would work well for any animal. I also imagine there isn't a setting small enough for a piggie, which increases the risk of injury. Best to stick with good ol' fashion nail clippers, in my opinion.
