| Trying to Dye So I'm thinking about dying my hair, and I'd rather use henna than all those chemicals and crap that salons use. Plus then I can do it myself (I'm cheap), and I've heard that henna makes your hair an interesting shade of red. Has anyone here ever used henna to dye their hair? Good results? Easy to use? |

| Re: Trying to Dye I have used henna and got nice results, but my hair is brown. It didn't really change my hair color, but it gave some nice red tones to it. The trick is to make sure you don't over do it if your hair is light colored. I don't know what the results would be for blond or light brown hair. Do they make henna for other hair colors or is it only one kind? Have you investigated vegetable dyes? Maybe there is a section inyour local organic/health food store. If you decide to do it, make sure you post pictures. |
