My back always looked like that too. It was so sore to the touch for a couple of days. But, you forget about it and just watch the precious new baby every second!

Thanks for pics - Rebecca Charlotte is utterly gorgeous! She looks like she has a mix of your colourings, and has obviously captured your hearts - it doesn't take long! How is she sleeping?

Sorry to hear you had a hard time with the anaesthesia - hope that's fading into the distance already. I know I appreciated a week in hospital with Ronan when he was first born - someone else to worry about the washing and cooking etc was just what I needed!

Keep us updated, especially with pictures!

Daniel is sat on my knee (now aged 21 months). I asked him if he liked baby Rebecca and he nodded and said yes. I asked him if he could say Rebecca and he said "Beck".

She already has a toddler friend from afar! How are you all getting along?

We're doing well thank you! In-laws are over at the moment (that's as much as I'll say!!) and Becky has been a wee bit colicky in the evenings so we're happy but exhausted! Tomorrow Timo is back working (though he's working from home for a week or so) so that will be the real test of my ability!
