Piggy (and dog) magazine

I was thinking of making a piggy and dog magazine. You all have said you wanted a piggy magazine and I just love dogs too. But I have a question. Where do I go/how can I find a place that can publish it? I may have more later. Please help. Have any of you made an actual magazine or know anyone that has?

I wouldn't "publish," but rather make it an email newsletter (free), an online magazine (based off a website, probably offered free), or you could print the copies for yourself and carge shipping+printing fees for subscriptions.

Well you'll probably want to start out with black and white copies of probably less than 5 pages... These you can make yourself or bring to like a copy place. I would say you can paste different things you want in your newsletter (photos, text, logo) on to a plain sheet of paper, layouts seem to be easier offline, then you can just make black and white copies of the page. you can try using a program like microsoft word if that works better for you.

I would love to help you out with logos, and layouts if youd like, Ive had some experence with newsletters, websites, and logos.

What I would do is, I have a printer/scanner/copier 3 in 1 machine, I would stick the sheets in one by one and copy each however many times, you can do that wiht a standared scanner machine, you will just need to scan save and print the files which might take a bit longer.

you should try sending them from a hotmail adress... Their free and you can make email groups there, which is great for newsletter sending

I thought of DACM which would stand for dog and cavy magazine. That is all I got. Do any of you have name ideas?

well alot of people dont ususally put and or the in their appreivation to their name so if you want that maybe DC, or D&C.. Also sense your techinally not a magazine but a mailing list which somewhat boarders on newsletter but hardly, unless you use newsletter format, or purchase a newsletter membership (usually online programs to creat and send newsletters out) that is. Mag usually implies physically sending out subscriptions to mailing addresses, but whatever its up to you

I like the name Carrots and Kibble Newsletter, you could spell it The Karrots and Kibble Newsletter, so it would be the The K&K News

I think I am going to name it Cavies and Canines or Canines and Cavies because Karrots and Kibble could be a rabbit, dog, cat, guinea pig, small animal newsletter.
