Re: Happy Thanksgiving

I made my piggers a Thanksgiving meal. I got bell peppers, lettuce, carrots, apple, parsley, and broccoli for them and then mixed it up in a salad. They LOVED it! Aww they are just so cute when they eat.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

I've been stuck home alone for Thanksgiving, my family is on the other side of the country and they all had a huge feast without me so I was a little sad about that. I decided to cook for my furry family, although I just ate macaroni and cheese for myself! The guinea pigs got four huge plates of veggies instead of their usual two, with four different lettuces, cilantro, parsley, zucchini, tomatoes, strawberries, oranges, apples, cucumber and carrots! They still managed to eat every last piece, they are champion eaters!

I cooked some chicken and rice for my dog, and gave the cats some of the chicken as well. I wasn't really sure what to give the ferrets so I gave them some of their frozen "Duck Soup" and extra ferretone. The rats got cereal and fruit, and the geckos got extra crickets and meal worms. I think the only ones who missed out were the fish, they just got fish food.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

We are not celebrating Thanksgiving until Saturday. My fiance's Mom always does Thanksgiving for the whole family on Saturday. It always gives the out of town relatives a chance to be here. I expect there will be 50+ people. Her house burned down in February and she just moved into to newly built house last week. I'm sure everyone will want to see the new place!

Anyway, I worked all week except Thanksgiving but I was able to try a new recipe.

We had
Beef Braciole (flank steak stuffed with herbs, prosiutto, and sweet italian sausage)
Scalloped Potatos
Brussel Sprouts
