The problem with freezing pellets...

The problem with freezing pellets in small zip-lock bags is that, when the light bulb in the utility room blows and you can't see to change it in the dark and your children have hidden all the torches and you are groping around in the freezer in the dark, the pellets feel remarkably similar to the vegemince you put in a zip lock bag when the original bag split and then marked with a pen which turned out really not to be very freezerproof at all.

Oxbow pellets do NOT work well in vegetarian bolognaise.

Re: The problem with freezing pellets...

The pellets turned to mush really quicky, unlike the mince which holds its shape quite well, so I spotted my mistake quickly (before tasting). If I hadn't been in such a rush to get a meal ready and trying to do too many things at once I'd have spotted it at once (at least, I hope I would). So it was beans on toast for tea that night.

That's awesome! I would have just eaten it, had it been me. Animal food usually tastes just fine, but usually not enough salt and/or seasoning.
