Question Ecover - new and improved!

Does anyone else use Ecover washing powder? (I'm not sure if it's available in the States...it is a vegan, plant and mineral based washing powder from a Belgian company, with a strong environmental ethos.)

I have used it for years, and have just recently started using their 'New Integrated Formula', having worked my way through the batch of original stuff, which I bought in bulk when it was on offer.

Using the scoop provided, I have been adding the correct dose to my machine - with spectacular results! Two weeks ago, while washing the pigsters' fleece, the bubbles oozed out of the powder drawer. Last week, they made it to the floor. This week, my jaw hit the floor, as I entered the kitchen, it resembled a cartoon scene, with a pool of bubbles escaping the machine, and flowing in a 2ft frothy puddle on the lino!!!

Has anyone else experienced anything like it?

Maybe it's the fleece? It is my third wash today, and only the guineas fleece has created this eruption!!! Any ideas?

Use less powder with the fleece?

Yup - forgot to mention that! I have been cutting down on quantity over the weeks. Am down to nearly half the recommended scoopful!

That's very odd indeed. Do they have a number or e-mail address listed on the package? Maybe they would have a better suggestion or even an explination as to why this is happening.
