FINALLY! I've wanted it done for about 5 years, mum finally said yes but I had to go on holiday first. Eek, I'm going tomorrow so if I can I'll post some pictures.

I've got both sides pierced, got them done a long time ago - about 20 years or so! (ooohhh, it seems like yesterday!) It shouldn't hurt too much - just a bit nippy - but remember to take hankies, as it will probably make your eyes water!

I remember how excited I felt - than how proud I felt after, and kept getting glimpses of the little twinkling stone in my nose!

I had my navel pierced about 9 years ago. It did initially hurt when the needle went in,but after that was done it wasn't that bad. It took three months to heal completely. Now I forget it's even there.
The funny part of the story is that I had gone with my boyfriend at the time and he had his naval pierced as well(weird for a guy, I know), when they initially pierced him, he turned green and almost passed out. I guess that's why we have the babies.

The only problem is, is that I want the tiniest stud possible and I'm really fussy about the size. If they don't have any studs that I like tomorrow, I'll probably just end up coming home. Or I can just do my tragus...

Awww...I'm jealous. I pierced my nose last August for my birthday but it kept giving me problems so I had to take it out. I was four when my mom let me pierce my ears so I didn't remember that I don't react well to piercing and went for the cheaper stud because she didn't have any of the small stones in the surgical steel studs. I should maybe try again with the surgical steel .

I DID IT! It did hurt whilst I was getting it done, although the pain was over quick. Everything seemed to happen really quickly since there was no que or waiting time at the place. My eyes did water slightly, but not as much as others have said. I've got a gemmed stud in it which is rather large but they said I'd find nothing smaller as a first time stud. So I'll just have to wait 2 months before I can put in something more discreet. I can't believe I have it...after about 4 years of waiting! I will post pictures soon

Yay Piglet! I am so happy for you! My first stud was a great big muckle thing - but it was sparkley, and I always remember my first night out, dancing and the lights catching it, making it twinkle! I wanted EVERYONE to see!

Remember to keep turning it, and be very careful if you need to blow your nose!

And watch out for sweaters! When I first got mine I pulled a sweater over my head and the stud hooked on. WOW that hurt! (just a warning )

Good for you, I advocate all piercings, seeing as I have 17 of my own. I love them, the adreneline rush is the greatest part. Make sure you post those pictures, as I am not allowed to pierce my face, and I am plenty old enough to do it.
